EM Utility Board UBc The Utility PC Board has positions for gain determining resistors, power supply connections, input terminals and direct and filtered outputs. The filtered output is taken via a passive filter, which has a pole of 1Hz, to minimise the modulation component. When the filtered output is used, the passive filter is additional to the feedback time constant set by the feedback resistor and capacitor. The output may be taken from the direct output pin, thus by-passing the passive filter, in which case the only filtering is the time constant set by the feedback components.
